The Team: Kiranpreet Dhaliwal MSc MC (She/Her)

I began my career with a Master of Science in Human Ecology (Family Science) where I specialized in researching intimate relationships. Following this, I pursued a Master of Counselling, becoming provisionally registered as a psychologist. My experience spans research-based roles and five years at CASA Mental Health, where I worked in both supportive and clinical capacities. I have worked with children, adolescents, caregivers, and couples in my practice. 

I work from an integrative-eclectic approach drawing from Person-centered Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, Emotion-focused Therapy, and Somatic Based-Therapies. By focusing on attachment dynamics, I aim to help clients strengthen their sense of connection and resilience, whether working through developmental challenges in adolescence or addressing relational issues in adulthood. I have a special interest in mindfulness, polyvagal theory (working with the nervous system), and the mind-body connection. 

I am offering in-person sessions from my office in St. Albert. I provide telephone or virtual services to clients located anywhere in Alberta. I am accepting clients who are teens (13+), couples, and individual adults (18+).
